About Me

Welcome to my blog! My name is Shannon and I have been teaching since 2009. I have taught both elementary and middle school. I went to Boise State University where I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree in 2008. My minors were Social Studies, Geography and Earth Science. I am also very passionate about technology. When I'm not teaching, I'm working on websites, playing games, watching movies and travelling with my husband.

This blog was created as a way for me to share my passion for edtech with educators and tech savvy people alike.

I believe that technology should be used to engage students in a meaningful way, not used to pacify them. Technology is a tool that we use everyday, from our cell phones, to our DVRs and everything in between. It is important that students know how to use tools as tools.
